Get ready for a spooky laugh ride with the release of Stree 2! The Most awaited gang is back again, and this time the Chanderi town is haunted not by Stree but by the new devil “ Sarkata”.

The horror comedy sequel is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under the banner of Maddock Films is all set to hit the big screen today on the 15th of August having a run time of 2 hours 27 minutes.

The first part was a massive success and had grossed ₹180.76 crore at the box office during its theatrical run.

Cast and Introducing New Faces

Rajkumar Rao returns as Vicky (Bickyyy), the protagonist who is “Shehar ka Rakshak” and fights against the mysterious Stree, the witch.

Shraddha Kapoor, whose identity is still not known is a ghost or just an ordinary woman with superpowers.

Other familiar faces appear in the movie, such as Pankaj Tripathi as Rudra; Abhishek Banerjee as Jana; and Aparshakti Khurana as Bittu.

Adding to the excitement, the sequel also features a new face, Tamannaah Bhatia. The movie will burst a bubble if she will be playing just a cameo appearance or if she will be connected to the story. 

The Plot

This time, in the Stree sequel the story takes a darker turn in the Chanderi town as women start disappearing mysteriously and the rumor has it that the headless monster “Sarkata” is responsible for the kidnappings.

Guess what? Our favorite characters from the film are back to save the day.

Vicky and their companions are determined and all set to find out what’s going on to defeat this evil and protect their city. It’s going to be a tough battle, but they won’t give up.
