1. Adipurush

At first glance, this film generated much anticipation before its release; unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the biggest failures of 2023. Adipurush worldwide box office collection is only Rs 392.70 Crore, and movie budget was Rs 600+ Crore.

Om Raut’s mythological drama featuring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon received extensive critical acclaim, with Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, and Saif Ali Khan making appearances as well.

2. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan

Salman Khan’s year hasn’t been great. “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan” failed at the box office as it only earned Rs 110.53 crore during its run in theatres.

Pooja Hegde starred in the movie along with Venkatesh Dagabati, Palak Tiwari, Raghav Juyal, Shehnaaz Gil, and others.

3. Selfie

The Akshay and Emraan starrer “Selfie” was a big failure, earning only Rs 23 crores at the box office. This Hindi remake was based on the Malayalam movie ‘Driving Licence.

4. Mission Raniganj

Despite positive reviews, ‘Mission Raniganj’ starring Akshay and Parineeti received only Rs 45 crore. The rescue drama is based on West Bengal’s Raniganj Coalfields disaster of 1989.

Akshay played Jaswant Gill, an IIT Dhanbad engineer who bravely rescued 65 trapped miners at the Raniganj Coalfields collapse in 1989.

5. Tejas

Tejas, Kangana’s highly anticipated film, was made with a Rs 70 cr budget. However, the film only earned only Rs 5cr at the box office.

6. Kuttey

Kuttey, a Bollywood film made on a 35cr budget, only collected Rs 4 crores at the box office.

7. Zwigato

Zwigato, a Hindi drama film written and directed by Samir Patil, stars Kapil Sharma and Shahana as lead roles, with Tushar Sayani Tushar Palit as cinematographer, Sagar Desai composing its soundtrack, Devanshu Singh providing background score.

Plot Zwigato follows a man working as a food courier facing obstacles with rewards and ratings in a similar to family drama situations; plotZwigato tells of his struggles to survive working under strict regulations that govern him;

8. Shehzada

The Hindi remake of Telugu blockbuster ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo,’ starring Allu Arjun, failed at the box office. The Kartik Sanon and Kriti Aaryan starrer made Rs 47.43 cr worldwide despite all the hype and promotion.

9. Ganapath: A Hero Is Born

The movie starring Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon, and others is a flop. The hugely budgeted action drama only made Rs 35.13 crore at the box office.

10. Bholaa

The reviews for Ajay Devgn’s ‘Bholaa,’ which has grossed Rs. 111.64 Crore, were mixed.

11. The Ladykiller

The Ladykiller, starring Bhumi Pandnekar and Arjun Kapoor, is one of Bollywood’s most popular films. The biggest flops in 2023. The film was made on a 45 Cr budget and only collected Rs 1 Lakhs at the box office

12. Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway

The box office performance of ‘Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway,’ starring Rani Mukerji and directed by Ashima Chibiber, was not good. The film earned Rs 36.53 crore at the global box office despite positive reviews.
