Kartik Aaryan recently revealed that he filmed an intense 8-minute single-shot sequence in the Aru Valley, Jammu, and Kashmir to film this movie. Kartik described the war scene in a post with an image of the shoot.

“This 8-minute single-shot war sequence turned out to the be the most challenging and spectacular shot I have ever done. I will cherish this memory for the rest of my life. Thank you, sir @kabirkhankk, for making it possible. #ChanduChampion.”

The makers claim that ‘Chandu Champion is based on the true story of a person who refused to give up.’ The film pays tribute to Murlikant Petkar, a person with paraplegia who sustained injuries during the India-Pakistan War in 1965.
