IPL 2024, List of Injured Player: The IPL Auction took place in Dubai on December 19, 2024, for the first time outside India.

Some players are still recovering from injuries, but many have started their preparations for the new season.

We saw many key players injured last season. These included Jasprit Bhumrah and Prasidh Krsna, Rishabh Pan, KL Rahul, Kane Williamson, Rajat Patidar, and Will Jacks Reece Topley.

Most of these players are now available to play this season and will add to the strength of their respective teams.

There are some new names on the injury list already for the 2018-19 season. The Gujarat Titans will be without their ace pacer, Mohammed Shami, and CSK may miss Devon Conway during the first part of the year.

Some players, who are still recovering from injuries, may also miss the rest of the season, particularly since the T20 World Cup is scheduled to begin just five days following the IPL final.

Some players also cited workload management as a reason for their withdrawal. The respective teams have found replacements for these players. The Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants had to find replacements.

Some players, including those from India and overseas who are likely to be selected for the T20 World Cup squads in the USA and Caribbean, may also opt to end their campaign early due to national duty.

There are only three players who will miss the IPL 2024 season. Several of them, like Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan, and India’s star batter Suryakumar, have been injured earlier in the year. Check out the IPL 2024 team injury list.
