The Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist group in Pakistan carried out an indiscriminate assault that killed 166 people and injured over 300 others.

Israel confirmed its classification of LeT as a terrorist organization last week, ahead of the anniversary. Lior Haiat, spokesperson for the Israeli Foreign Ministry, told PTI that this designation was initially made in 2013 and has recently been reaffirmed in official records.

The terrorists who held residents at the Jewish outreach center of Chabad House captive during the attack killed six Jews. The attack comes as Israel continues its war against Hamas.

Timeline of 2008 Mumbai Attack

Ten terrorists engaged in coordinated bombings and shootings that resulted in the deaths of 166 individuals in Mumbai, as detailed here in their timeline of events:

Indian Navy officials remain unaware that ten terrorists traveled on a boat from Karachi in Pakistan without being discovered, spending over thirty-eight hours traveling without detection.

November 22: Each man received six to seven magazines of 30 rounds each and 400 extra rounds that were not loaded into magazines.

Furthermore, each received eight hand grenades, an AK-47 assault weapon, an automatic-loading revolver with an automatic loader, a credit card, and dried fruit as part of their kit.

On November 23, terrorists hijacked a Kuber trawler from India and killed four fishermen before forcing its captain back toward India.

On November 26, terrorists used an inflatable speedboat to kill the captain of Kuber as it approached Mumbai within seven kilometers (4 nautical miles).

Following this attack, three more inflatable speedboats were then commandeered for transport towards Colaba Jetty.

At 8.10 pm, a boat docks in Mumbai’s Cuffe Parade neighborhood and debarks six terrorists who claim they are students when asked by locals about their occupations.

Badhwar Park, Cuffe Parade in Colaba, is where another group leaves at 8.30 pm, instructing Marathi-speaking fishermen to keep their heads down before breaking up and heading in different directions.

Leopold Cafe reported gunshots that killed ten and injured several more, including a Reuters reporter. Additionally, terrorists planted bombs inside two taxis that resulted in five more fatalities and 15 injuries.

Four attackers entered the Taj Mahal Hotel. Two entered Oberoi Trident. Two invaded Nariman House. Finally, Ajmal Kasab and Ismail took a taxi back to Nariman House from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.

Kasab, Ismail, and their AK47 and AK74U rifles attacked CSMT at 9.20 pm with gunfire and grenade attacks, killing 58 and injuring another 104 people.

Kasab, Ismail, and Ismail arrived at Cama Hospital at 10.30 pm on June 6, when staff noticed them approaching. Staff immediately took action when they saw these men approaching, locking patients’ rooms as soon as they noticed. In an encounter with them, ATS chief Hemant Karkare and three officers from his agency were killed during a violent exchange;

Gamdevi Police intercepted and intercepted Ismail before hijacking it near Girgaum Chowpatty. Ismail died, and Kasab was arrested by Gamdevi Police shortly afterward.

November 28: The Oberoi Hotel Commando Operation comes to an end successfully with 24 bodies found and 143 hostages saved alive – two terrorists have also been neutralized during this operation.

NSG commandos will be deployed via fast rope onto the roof at Nariman House, and snipers will be present nearby to stop potential attacks.

At 7.30 pm, commandos find all six hostages murdered and tortured by terrorists; among them is the rabbi, his wife, and five others.

At 8.30 pm, the Nariman House Operation was declared complete as its commandos had successfully eliminated both terrorists.
