Bagheera Movie: Hombale Films, one of the world’s most celebrated production houses, will release a new movie entitled Bagheera this Sunday (17 December).
Once again, I worked alongside director Prashanth Neel for this project. An official teaser trailer for Bagheera will also be unveiled then.
Hombale Films’ KGF series films, directed by Prashanth, have been produced by Hombale Films under Vijay Kiragandur’s direction. Dr Suri directed Bagheera, with Srii Murali as its protagonist; Vijay Kiragandur produced both.
Bagheera Release Date
Bagheera production began with Muhurat’s presence in Bengaluru beginning in May 2022. Srii Murali’s anger-filled first-look poster was released in December 2020, and the film was officially announced.
Bagheera will be released in Kannada as well as Hindi and Malayalam dubbing versions; Telugu and Tamil will also be made available – scheduled to premiere on Republic Day (26 January 2024). The Bagheera teaser commemorated Srii’s 42nd Birthday (17 December 2023).

The Storyline of Bagheera Movie
The Bagheera Kannada movie teaser provides an exclusive glimpse into a world rife with injustice, violence and chaos – where protagonist Bagheera emerges from darkness to take action against those abusing power. Additionally, this footage promises exciting action sequences with stunning cinematography.
Srii Murali’s character can be seen standing atop a building and looking down upon the city, reflecting the challenges ahead. Srii celebrated his Birthday the same day he released this teaser video, adding extra excitement among fans.
Who is Srii Murali?
Srii Murali, born on 17 December 1981, primarily works in Kannada films. He made his film debut in 2003 with “Chandra Chakori”, later going on to star as Kanti in “Kanti”, for which he won the Karnataka State Film Award that same year.
Srii Murali’s performance in the Kannada film “Ugramm” (2014), which became an international success, stands out among his many achievements. Also known as Murali in the Kannada cinema industry, he is highly esteemed.
Bagheera Star Cast
Rukmini Vasanth will star as Rukmini in this film. She made her screen debut with MG Srinivas Birbal-Finding Vajramuni. Hombale Films recently announced that Kantara star Naveen Bedel would also appear in Bagheera alongside Sakshi Agarwal, Nassar and Sai Kumar in crucial roles.
Prashant had intended to direct Bagheera himself; however, his schedule became too complete with other films like Salaar, KGF-3 and an untitled NTR Jr. film; therefore, Dr Suri took over his directing duties for Bagheera.
