Dangal Co-Actress Suhani Bhatnagar or “Babita Phogat” Died at 19, Know Here Reason of Her Death

Suhani Bhatnagar, Aamir Khan’s Dangal co star, has passed away. She played the young Babita Phogat in the film. Aamir Khan Productions confirmed the news on Saturday, taking to X in order to express their sorrow.

A close relative of Suhani told PTI that, while the cause of her death is still unknown, she died yesterday at AIIMS. She was 19. He didn’t elaborate on the cause of death.

Still, reports in the media suggested that she died from medical complications following a leg injury. A hospital source said that she was admitted to the hospital on February 7 and died on February 16.

Aamir’s production company confirmed the news in a letter that said, “We were deeply saddened by hearing about Suhani’s passing.” We send our deepest condolences to her mother, Poojaji, and to the whole family.

Dangal wouldn’t have been complete without Suhani, a young, talented girl and team player. The note concluded with, “Suhani, you will forever remain a star in our hearts. May you rest in Peace.”

Nitesh Tiwari said that Suhani’s death was “absolutely shocking and heartbreaking.” She was a very happy person, full of energy. “My deepest condolences go out to her family.”

Suhani Bhatnagar is a household name for her role as young Babita Phogat in the 2016 movie ‘Dangal.’ She appeared on screen with Aamir Khan, Sakshi Tanwar, and Zaira Wasim. She also appeared in a few advertisements.

Suhani took a break while her co-star Zaira announced publicly her decision to leave the film industry. She was not active on social networks. Her last social media post was made in November 2021.

Suhani gained fame for her role as Sakshi Tanwar in Dangal (2016). She worked with Aamir Khan and Zaira Wasim. She appeared in several ads after her stint in the film.

According to some reports, her death was caused by fluid accumulation in her body as a result of her reaction to medicine following an accident.
