After the success of Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, Prabhas is now preparing for the release of Kalki 2898 AD. In the midst of this, Prabhas announced another project titled The Raja Saab on Monday. Prabhas posted the first poster for the film to social media on the occasion of Makar Saab.

He was presenting #TheRajaSaab’s First Look during this festive season. “Wishing you joy and happiness,” wrote he on twitter. In the first trailer, Prabhas is seen wearing a black shirt and a colourful lungi and smiling enchantingly as he dances in an empty street.

The Raja Saab is directed by Maruthi Dasari, who previously directed films such as Prema Katha Chitram Mahanubhavudu and Prati Rouju Pandage. T.G. will produce the movie under the People Media Factory label.

Vishwa is the producer, and Vivek Kuchibotla is the co-producer. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.

Maruthi told Variety that the project was “The Raja Saab, one of my most ambitious works.” As a filmmaker, it is an honour and a thrill to work with Prabhas at People Media Factory.

The film’s producer also said Prabhas was a “pan India star loved by the audiences for his brilliant acting range”. The audience can expect him to wear a vintage and messy look, which they’ve long desired. We are excited to begin this journey with Maruthi, a brilliant filmmaker.

Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire is Prabha’s latest release. It grossed more than Rs 625 crore at the worldwide box office. The Prashanth Neel-directed film hit screens around the world on December 22.

The Baahubali star is now gearing himself up for Kalki 2898 AD. This film, touted as the most expensive ever made in Indian Cinema, will be released on April 28, 2018.

The film, directed by Nag Ashwin, features Amitabh, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani. The film will be released in 2024 on May 9.
