Rinku Singh Retained in Only 55 Lakhs Know Reason of It

No one could ask for more from Rinku Singh than what he’s accomplished for KKR so far. His career was forever altered during IPL 2023, when he earned his first call-up to the India team.

Rinku will go down as one of IPL’s most expensive players if he goes to auction; KKR purchased him at the IPL 2022 Auction for 55 lakhs and has held onto him ever since at that price point.

Rinku Singh Has Played For Both Of These Teams In The IPL

Rinku is currently the best match finisher in IPL and Team India. A member of the Kolkata Knight Riders IPL team, Rinku first made his IPL debut with Punjab Kings before switching teams in 2018 when joining Kolkata Knight Riders as their match finisher. He remains with the Kolkata team today.

Rinku Singh IPL Price Is Only This Many Rupees

Punjab Kings paid Rinku Singh Rs 10 lakh when he first joined IPL 2017 as a player for IPL 2017. Rinku was then purchased by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 80 lakh during IPL 2018 auction before entering another auction before IPL 2022;

Again, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) bought him this time; however, his salary dropped significantly to just Rs 55 lakh and Rinku Singh retained him only for IPL 2023 at that rate of pay.

Rinku Singh IPL Career

Rinku Singh has played 31 matches so far in the IPL and has averaged 36.25 while scoring 725 runs with an impressive strike rate of 142.16 overs – including hitting five consecutive sixes within five balls during a final over to seal victory!!

IPL 2023: Cost Per Run Comparison Between Rinku Singh And Andre Russell

Rinku Singh has done for IPL 2023 what Andre Russell achieved for Kolkata Knight Riders over time: win many matches thanks to his batting.

On May 20, at Eden Gardens against Lucknow Super Giants, Rinku nearly pulled off an extraordinary win with the bat. Unfortunately, they fell one run short, losing by just 1.

At the 16th edition of IPL, Aligarh-born batter Rinku was often compared to West Indies international Andre Russell, who made a name for himself by playing a similar role for Kolkata Knight Riders over many years. Rinku managed to amass 474 runs over 14 matches, while Russell only scored 227 runs total.

Rinku Singh joined Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for just INR 55 lakh, with an INR 11603.33 cost per run this season. On the other hand, Andre Russell signed with them at an estimated cost of INR 12 crore, earning INR 5 lakh per run scored during his time there – much higher than Rinku’s fee.

Rinku has played 31 matches for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and amassed 725 runs with an astounding strike rate of 142.16, impressing many former cricketers such as Harbhajan Singh, Ravi Shastri, etc.

Many would like him to represent India soon – his relaxed yet precise technique can bring victory to his team in any situation.

The 2023 season could very well mark the final chapter in KKR history. Rinku was virtually unstoppable during most matches, while Russell struggled.

Russell only scored runs after nine deliveries against LSG in their final league match of the season; this put enormous strain on KKR, who came close to victory due to Rinku’s 33* runs from 33 deliveries but could only pull away with help from Rinku. LSG controlled most of their second innings, effectively preventing their success.

Six Players Who Earn Less Than A Crore In IPL But Could Fetch More Than Ten Crores In Auction

The IPL 2024 auction will take place in UAE on December 19, 2023.

Indian Premier League teams that do not wish to participate in the auction for IPL 2024 have released players. On December 19 in Dubai, each franchise will have an extra INR 5 crore budgeted for use during this bidding event.

The 2023 auction broke all records. Players received incredible deals that had never happened before. For instance, some players have been retained but would’ve fetched bids of 10+ crores at the auction but instead received salaries under INR 1 crore annually.

Jitesh Sharma (70 Lakhs)

Jitesh has been part of the Punjab Kings since 2022. They signed him for an estimated fee of INR 70 lakhs, and his performance in the tournament has been exceptional.

Jitesh is an impressive striker for PBKS who has scored 543 runs with a strike rate of 156.2 across 26 games played during that time frame – sure to fetch big money at IPL auction time!

Mohsin Khan (20 Lakhs)

Mohsin is an Indian left-arm speedster who can bowl at over 140 km/hr while also swinging his bat. This talent is rare and was snapped up by Lucknow Super Giants at an initial starting price of INR20 lakhs, becoming their leading pacer with 17 wickets at an economy rate of 7.07 in 14 games! Other teams would surely adore having such an asset on their side.

Maheesh Tekshana (70 Lakhs)

Mahesh Theekshana, a Sri Lankan spinner renowned for white-ball cricket, is becoming increasingly sought-after as an overseas franchise tournament player. In IPL for CSK at an approximate cost of 70 lakhs, he can make significant money at auctions such as IPL Auction – taking 23 wickets at a 7.77 average with CSK so far this season alone.

B. Sai Sudharsan (20 Lakhs)

Sai Sudharsan has been part of the Gujarat Titans team for two seasons. After joining for INR 20 lakhs in 2022, he didn’t get much opportunity during the first season.

Still, in 2023, things started looking up when Williamson got injured during their opening match of the tournament and won through to become part of a team scoring high totals – his superb innings against CSK in the final was what propelled them towards a high total score.

Sai has performed exceptionally in domestic league competitions and could make an excellent addition for auctioning in 2024!

Sai Sudharsan’s contract with the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) is significantly higher than his IPL contract – earning 21,60 lakhs; in comparison, GT gets only 20 lakhs from this tournament.

Mohit Sharma (50 Lakhs)

Mohit Sharma, winner of the 2014 IPL “Purple Cap,” had to wait several seasons until GT signed him for INR 50 lakhs in 2023. Mohit did not disappoint either: taking 27 wickets in only 14 matches helped GT qualify for the final. Mohit has also played for India and should fetch a lot of money at auction.
