Rockstar Games unwittingly released the GTA 6 trailer earlier than anticipated due to an apparent leak on social media platform X, and it quickly went viral – garnering over 11,000,000 views within two hours on YouTube alone!

GTA 6 Trailer confirms many leaks about its open-world video game. At the same time, Rockstar Games announced in a press release that GTA 6 would be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X & S by 2025 – though no information was given as to when or if GTA 6 will arrive for PC gamers, much to their displeasure.

Rockstar Games confirmed that the trailer of their upcoming game had indeed leaked onto X, saying that you can watch the real trailer on YouTube.

Lucia, GTA 6’s female protagonist, can be seen at the start of this trailer in jail. Later in the video, she is shown with her boyfriend and their involvement in various heists throughout Vice City.

Rockstar Games issued a statement regarding GTA 6 that read as follows: “Grand Theft Auto VI takes place in Leonida, Vice City and other locations – making it the most immersive, progressive instalment in the Grand Theft Auto series yet.

Bloomberg reported that Take-Two Interactive’s parent company, Rockstar Games, expected Grand Theft Auto 6 would generate eight billion in net bookings by 2025, previous statements by Take-Two Interactive’s parent company, Rockstar Games.

Since 1997, when Grand Theft Auto was first released, over 400 million copies have sold worldwide; its final version released was GTA 6, which debuted back in 2013.

After over ten years between GTA 5’s release and that of GTA 6, we finally got GTA 6.

GTA 6 Location: We’re Returning to Vice City

GTA 6 transports us back to Vice City – although in an updated setting. While Rockstar has yet to release more details about its release, our first look at the trailer for GTA 6 suggests they may have recreated old locations such as Starfish Island.

GTA 6 Rumors And Stories About Playable Characters

Rockstar Games has not confirmed Grand Theft Auto 6 or its story; however, reports and rumours can give us an indication as to what might happen next.

According to Jason Schreier’s Bloomberg article, GTA 6 features its first female protagonist ever, and centres around two characters modelled on Bonnie and Clyde.

Leaked gameplay footage further confirms this claim with two protagonists showing in gameplay: one male and the other female.

Bloomberg reports on Rockstar’s attempts at altering workplace culture. They have dedicated the last four years to overhauling their culture and moving towards becoming a kinder and more progressive company – culminating in Grand Theft Auto VI featuring Latina women protagonists for the first time.

Schreier states in his report that Latina female characters will feature prominently in an upcoming Rockstar game inspired by Bonnie and Clyde, with developers taking extra care not to offend or demean marginalised groups by making jokes about them.
