For over four years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi mimicked opposition leaders at Lok Sabha from 2014 to 2019. Everyone laughed, but if taken seriously, it will cause me no end of grief…Mimicking does not constitute a crime, but they (BJP) are trying to shift attention away from an issue at hand, which is whether the suspension of opposition members was justifiable,” Modi” claimed.

Mamata Banerjee, Bengal’s chief minister, played down this issue by emphasising that it wasn’t to be anything disrespectful.

“We “pet everyone. She was simply using casual and political language.” You “would never have known had Rahul Ji not recorded it.”
