UP Police Exam Cancelled: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Examination has been canceled due to reported incidents of paper leakage. Yogi Adityanath is the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. He has announced that a re-examination would be held within 6 months.

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Exam was held on the 17th and 18th of February.

The agitation by civil service candidates against the alleged leakage of police recruitment exam question papers entered its fifth and final day on Friday. Aspirants protested at the entrance of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission.

An official notification from the Uttar Pradesh Government stated that the exam was canceled due to the high purity and transparency standards.

The notification also indicated that a FIR had been filed. The government ordered that the STF investigate the case. The decision has been made to take the most severe action against those found guilty. The notification continued, “”.

Priyanka Vadra, Congress leader in Uttar Pradesh, slammed Yogi Ajityanath’s Bhartiya Janata Party-led government on Friday over recent incidents of recruitment examination papers being leaked. She demanded a CBI investigation and harsh action against those responsible.

She said the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Exam was the most extensive in history.

Exam Paper Leak Detail

The form cost Rs 400, and 48 lakh cards were issued. Leaked papers were released before the test. “What must children and families be experiencing,” said the Congress general secretary.

She said the same thing happened at the RO (Review Offers) exam, and the paper was leaked.

In the last three weeks, the police in Uttar Pradesh have arrested or detained 244 people for allegedly using unfair methods in the recruitment test of police constables or planning to do so.

A statement released by the State Police Headquarters states that these arrests and detentions took place between February 15th to 6 pm on February 18th.

The arrests and detentions of these suspects were carried out by the Special Task Force and district police, with local intelligence.

The arrested or detained suspects are being questioned after filing a FIR against them. Prashant Kumar, the Uttar Pradesh police chief, said that people and gangs who use unfair methods (in exams) would be caught. Strict action will be taken.

He added that “most of the arrests occurred before the accused had the chance to carry out their evil plans to disrupt the integrity of the exam through unfair means.”
