Who is Orry: Orhan Awatramani, known as Orry, can often be seen partying and hanging out with Bollywood celebrities, including Jahnavi Kapoor, Nysa Devgan and Sara Ali Khan.
Most recently, pictures featuring Orry partying alongside Nita Ambani, Deepika Padukone and Shubhman Gill at the launch of Jio World Plaza went viral online and earned him the moniker “Bollywood’s BFF“.
As with his famed fashion choices and fan base, many users remain curious about his purpose and purposeful existence, leaving them all wanting to know who he is, why, what his role in life is, who exactly Orry is and what his job duties might be.

Cosmopolitan India recently interviewed Mr Awatramani, who noted his dedication to work. When asked whether it was typical 9-5 work, he denied this interpretation, instead insisting he worked on himself – “I’m working on myself — going to gym sessions, engaging in self-reflection exercises, doing Yoga sessions and even getting massages; all while working” said Mr Awatramani.
Orry explained what he does to his boss during their initial job interview: ‘Everyone wants to know this? Let me tell you exactly what I said during that first job interview: You know, ma’am, I wanted to become an aeronautical engineer growing up.
Today, however, what am I? According to Orry, those closest to him in terms of friendship in his peer group rather than in the “film industry”, including Bhumi Pednekar, whom she met for the first time only within the industry, are considered such.
However, they had only met each other recently but now remain close. Mr Awatramani noted that posting a picture with Kylie Jenner at her US house for his birthday celebration gained considerable traction and put him “on the map.”
If one celebrity photo made an impactful statement about themselves or put someone on notice, then that one picture put Mr Awatramani “on the map”.

Orry recently admitted he receives payments for taking photos at events with poses he performs and posting them. “I earn approximately Rs 20-30 Lakhs in one night from these photos alone.”
When asked what he does to earn money, Orry revealed: “Nachta hai, gaata hai. I am just someone who has lived their lives. I worked hard – as a waiter, actor and graphic designer and doing odd jobs to earn cash – in my youth to make ends meet for now living in his buddha.”
Orry does not receive payment to attend parties, yet revealed he employs five managers: two social media managers, one PR manager, one overall brand manager and one food manager who monitors what Orry eats;

Why is Orry Famous?
Orry explained in the same interview that although he often comes into contact with celebrities, only some are his close personal friends.
Noting he went to school with some, he stated only Bhumi Pednekar is part of his inner circle from within the industry.
Nita Ambani has recently come into his orbit, and they were seen together at an event.
However, in one interview, he clarified that Kylie Jenner put him on the map. He noted: “If one picture with a celebrity grabbed people’s attention, then yes; for my birthday party, I went over to Kylie’s house, and we took one together and posted it up, putting me on the map.”
Meanwhile, in a promotional clip for his podcast, he boasts that he is a marketing genius while at one point being part of a waiters’ group.

The people I associate with are my peers from school/college; it is simply easier for the media to highlight Bollywood people because they are more familiar faces”.
Salman had asked Orry, “How often do you swipe your credit card,” to which he responded: “None during the day or evening, as stars don’t pay.
In my case, nobody gives me bills; instead, they prefer taking selfies with me and leaving, though this service doesn’t come free; however, I do charge for my selfies”. Orry charges Rs 100 for taking one with him!
