Finally! Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Successfully Completed by PM Modi, See Here Complete Detail

Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha: The 51-inch idol was revealed for the first time to the world after PM Modi performed the Pran Pratishtha on Lord Ram Lalla in the sanctum Sanctorum of Ayodhya Ram temple.

Arun Yogiraj, from Karnataka, sculpted the idol depicting Ram Lalla at five years old. The Trust officials said that the model was chosen over two other options because it best captured the innocence, divinity and royal character of Ram Lalla.

The idol is adorned with several pieces from head to foot. The hands of the model are decorated with a golden bow and arrow. The forehead is decorated with a silver and red tilak.

Ram Lalla wears a yellow dhoti that blends with the yellow flowers and yellow jewellery. The intricate flower decorations stood out even among the magnificent jewellery that the idol is decked out with.

The Ram Mandir complex is built in the traditional Nagara architectural style. It spans 380 feet east-west, has a width and height of 250 feet, and a length of 380 feet. The temple’s vertical construction is made up of 20-foot-high floors that are supported by 392 pillars. It also features 44 gates.

Modi slept on the ground and drank coconut water for 11 days before the ceremony. He visited temples in India before the ‘pran pratishtha ceremony’ of the Ram Mandir. He took a holy bath at Rameswaram Angi Theerth beach.

PM Modi Performs ‘Dandavat Pranam’

PM Narendra Modi gave Lord Ram Lalla a ‘Dandavat Pranam” at the Ram Mandir Temple in Ayodhya after the Pran Pratistha Ceremony.

Ram Lalla Blesses PM Modi

After the Pran Pratisthan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi placed a lotus at the feet of Ram Lalla to receive blessings from God. A helicopter of the IAF then dropped flower petals at Ram Mandir.

What is “Pran Prathishta”?

The ‘Pran Prathishta,’ a sacred ritual of consecration that elevates an idol to a spiritual being, is a holy ritual. This ceremony invokes the deity’s ‘Prana’, or life force.

It then infuses the model with this energy, turning it into an incarnation of the divine. The ‘Pran Prathishta,’ which imbues Lord Ram’s hero with profound spiritual power, is a crucial part of the Ram Temple.

The ceremony includes intricate rituals performed by priests who adhere to ancient scriptures. Purifying the idol and seeking blessings from deities are part of the rituals. The culmination of the ceremony is infusing divine energy into an icon. This culminates in the “Pran Prathishta.”

After the ceremony, Modi met with workers contributing to the Ram Temple’s construction. On his itinerary, he visited the restored ancient Temple of Lord Shiv in Kuber Tila. Ayodhya decorated its streets with saffron-coloured flags, and Ram temple cutouts were displayed at Lata Mangeshkar Chowk.

Temple’s Architectural Marvel

In a historic event, the grand Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir was inaugurated. The temple is 380 feet long, 250 feet wide, and 161 feet high. It’s a monument to architectural and religious prowess.

Three hundred ninety-two columns support the temple and features 44 doors. Its walls and pillars are adorned with intricately carved Hindu deities, and the main sanctum contains the idol of Ram Lalla.

National Observance

A large audience watched the historic event on TV and online worldwide. This was due to central government announcements of a half day off on January 22. Temples all over the country celebrated this occasion with special celebrations, reflecting the spiritual hunger in the country.

Global Celebrations

Vishva Hindu Parishad and the Hindu diaspora group organised events around the globe, including Washington, DC and Sydney. The religious landmark’s significance was reflected in this inauguration’s global resonance.

Ayodhya’s Transformed Landscape

Ayodhya was transformed into a religious spectacle. The Ram Temple, decorated with flowers and special lighting, emanated an aura of divinity. The streets were transformed by artwork featuring Lord Ram and cutouts for bow and arrow. Ornamental lampposts inspired the traditional “Ramanandi Tilak” also adorned the streets.

Security Measures

A robust security cover was installed for the consecration, including 10,000 CCTV cameras, drones with artificial intelligence and other high-tech equipment.

To ensure a safe environment, traffic was regulated by moving barriers with barbed wires, particularly during VVIP movement. The National Disaster Response Force teams, trained to handle different scenarios, were strategically placed.

Historic Milestone

The consecration marks a milestone in the temple’s journey following the historic Supreme Court judgement in 2019 in the Ram Janmabhoomi/Babri Masjid Title Suit. This ceremony is steeped in history and follows the 1992 destruction of the 16th-century mosque by “kar sevaks.”

After the ceremony, Modi will address the crowd, highlighting the event’s significance. He will also visit the Kuber Tila to meet with the workers who were essential to the temple’s construction.

The inauguration ceremony of the Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir is a momentous occasion that transcends national boundaries, representing not only the religious significance of this event but also the victory of a protracted legal struggle.

The city of Ayodhya has been transformed, and global celebrations confirm the significance of this historic event.
