Leo, starring Thalapathy Vijay, was released today in cinemas. The movie has received a positive reception on its opening day. On the first day of its release, fans rush to see an action-packed film. Many people were seen in the cinemas on the opening day; some even watched the film at 4 am.
The Madras High Court ordered the Tamil Nadu Government to take adequate action to allow the screening of Leo from 7 am.
Leo is set to break several box office records thanks to the excitement among fans. Lokesh Knagaraj and stars Sanjay Dutt, Trisha Kashan, and Arjun Sarja direct the film.
The film has been released in many languages, including Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Telugu.

Leo was announced as Thalapathy in January 2023, marking Vijay’s 67th movie as a leading actor. Seven Screen Studios announced the title of the film a few weeks later.

Parthiban is a baker in a Himachal Pradesh village. He also rescues animals. Sathya, his wife (Trisha), Siddharth (Mathew Tom) and Chintu are happy families.
Parthiban, a loving father who doesn’t believe in violence, is a devoted man. Parthiban’s aggressive side is revealed when dacoits break into his bakery. Five gangsters are killed.
The incident is what starts the chaos in Parthiban’s life. The story then moves to Telangana, where we meet Das and Co., led by Anthony Das, Sanjay Dutt, and Harold Das, Arjun Das.
Harold Das’ son Leo Das is similar to Parthiban. Harold travels to Himachal Pradesh to get revenge on Parthiban.
Lokesh Kannagaraj has proven to be one of the most talented filmmakers in recent years. He proves to ‘Leo’ that he can elevate a story from a dead-end to Hollywood standards.
The story of this film is about a man who has changed and wants to conceal his past. He will do anything to protect his family.
The screenplay of Lokesh, co-written with Rathna Vaidy and Deeraj Vaidy, is filled with solid moments that leave the audience wanting more.
The title card tells us that Lokesh was inspired by the Hollywood movie ‘History of Violence.’ ‘Leo,’ his tribute to it, is a tribute to this Hollywood film.
We can confidently say that he is true to his word, and ‘Leo” is one of the violent films released in recent years. Thalapathy Vijay’s performance is the best in his career, whether action sequences or emotional scenes.
The first half of the film is full of dramatic moments. However, the second part becomes more predictable. The final act is also dramatic. The flashbacks of Das and Co.
Leo is an almost perfect commercial entertainer who will make you savour all the theatre moments. Lokesh also hid a few surprises in the film. Some surprises were revealed while filming was taking place, but others have kept the audience on their toes.
