OnePlus 12: OnePlus brand has released a new flagship smartphone to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the first OnePlus handset. The OnePlus 12 has now been officially launched in China, and the global launch date is confirmed.
When Will OnePlus 12 Be Available?
The OnePlus 12 was officially Launch to China on December 4, 2023, and went on sale on the 11th December. OnePlus has confirmed it will release the OnePlus 12 globally release at 2 pm GMT on Wednesday, January 23, 2024.
OnePlus also confirmed it will sell the R Series outside China and India for the first time, including North America and Europe. Both devices will be made available simultaneously.
As we near the launch event in a few days, more will become known upon its official announcement.
All this is happening slightly ahead of the global release of the OnePlus 11 smartphone, which was first available for purchase in China one month earlier than globally (on 24, Jaunary 2024).

What Is The Price Of The OnePlus 12?
We only know the price of the OnePlus 12 for China.

- 24GB/1TB – CNY 5,799 $820)
Do not pay too much heed to the figures for the UK and the US. These are just direct conversions from early bird prices, which will likely change. You should be prepared to pay a price that is close to the OnePlus 11’s launch price.

You can see that neither of these configurations is available in China. OnePlus could either maintain this variant of the global model or increase its price.
It’s hard to estimate the price of the OnePlus 12R because it hasn’t been launched in Europe or North America. The phone is almost certain to be cheaper than the standard 12.
What Specifications And Features Will The OnePlus 12 Include?

Though the OnePlus 12 is yet to become widely available globally, its launch in China provides us with all of the information we require for its release worldwide.
Design-wise, there are no real surprises in store for us with OnePlus 11. As can be seen from these images from Weibo, almost nothing stands out about this handset.
The back of the phone features textured surface areas. However, there may be variations depending on which color option is selected. Matt’s black and glossy green versions have made a comeback, while its availability outside China remains uncertain.
OnePlus claims that this change allows for optimal placement of antennae, leading to improved performance – boasting both a 3dB increase in signal strength and 15% reduced gaming latency.
The OnePlus 12’s performance is driven by Qualcomm’s latest phone chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. You can choose between 12- 16, or 24GB RAM in China; however, its global edition may only provide access to 8GB or 16GB options.
128GB or 256GB internal storage may work fine. However, having more capacity, like 512GB or even 1TB, would provide greater convenience since there’s no option for expanding storage capacity.
No reports indicated any major changes to the display, though there were some slight variances. First, the screen has become larger at 6.82 inches rather than 6.7. Additionally, resolution has improved slightly to 1440×3168, though still being 120Hz LTPO OLED display.
As opposed to its smaller sibling (5400mAh), having a larger battery capacity (5400mAh vs 5000mAh) offers several advantages. Wireless charging at 50W or 10W is now possible; wired charging up to 100W also exists.
There have also been upgrades to the cameras: The 50Mp main lens now features an upgraded f/1.6 sensor; there’s also a 64Mp telephoto lens featuring an f/2.6 sensor, as well as a 48Mp ultrawide camera that has been subtly modified.
