Watch! Virat kohli Amazing Fielding Effort in AFG Match

Virat Kohli Fielding: India dramatically won the T20I Series, sweeping Afghanistan 3-0. The third match was played at Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy stadium and required two Super Overs. Afghanistan equalled India’s 212 total to tie the game within the 20-over regulation period. The first “Super Over” also failed to produce a result and ended with a tie.

The celebrations for India’s win began when Ravi Bishnoi took two wickets during the second “Super Over”. Virat Kohli, the Indian icon, made a spectacular save at the ropes that marked the boundary.

Karim Janat, the batter, went airborne in the 17th over and was bowled to Afghanistan by the spinner Washingon Sundar. Kohli was positioned just behind the Indian dugout at long-on.

The Indian legend made a brilliant attempt, nearly catching the ball with one hand by leaping in the air at the last second before he returned the ball to play. He figured the momentum would carry him past the ropes.

Virat Kohli’s Effort Made A Huge Difference In The Final Result

IND vs AFG: India won the game against Afghanistan in a double Super Over. Given how the match ended up, Virat Kohli’s save shows how important fielding is in the shorter form of the sport.

Afghanistan nearly pulled off a sensational chase thanks to a cameo of Mohammad Nabi’s 34 off 16 balls and a sensational 54* off 23 by Gulbadin Naib. They couldn’t make it over the line and were forced to play two Super Overs.

Rohit Sharma was in full swing, scoring 24 runs on both Super Overs. The Indian think-tank turned to Ravi Bishnoi for the second Super Over after Mukesh Kumar. This move was successful despite only having 12 runs to defend.

Bishnoi took the wickets of Nabi and Rahmanullah Gurbaz, putting the hosts in the lead of a thrilling game of cricket. After winning the two previous games, India won the series 3-0, and Afghanistan remained unbeaten in this format.

Virat Kohli’s brilliant catch was hailed as the best fielding performance of the evening. Kohli could catch the ball that Najibullah Zaidran lofted into the air after Avesh Khan delivered it. This contributed to India’s impressive fielding performance.

Kohli’s feats on the field didn’t end there. With a sharp throw, he got Gulbadin out on the very first ball in the first Super Over.

On the other hand, Kohli had a disappointing outing as he was dismissed in India’s first innings for a duck. Rohit Sharma’s (121 not out) and Rinku Sing’s (69 not out) performances were the highlights for India, as they recovered from 22/4 to reach their solid total within 20 overs.

Rohit Sharma ended his streak of consecutive ducks with a stunning century. He scored an unbeaten score of 121 from 69 balls. India passed the 200-run threshold thanks to his outstanding knock. Kohli was also disappointed when he received a golden duck instead of a dismissal.

Rohit hit two sixes during the first “Super Over”, which was crucial in forcing the game to a second “Super Over” and a win for the Indian hosts.
