The Women’s Premier League WPL auction 2024 proved to be a highly entertaining and surprising affair, with some surprising purchases taking place. Gujarat Giants purchased uncapped all-rounder Kashvee Gatam for Rs 2 crore. 

In comparison, batter Vrinda Diindh sold to Uttar Pradesh Warriors at a whopping price of Rs 1.3 crore, Mumbai Indians acquired South African Shabnim Imaeil for 1.2 crore, and Delhi Capitals bought Annabel Sutherland for Rs 2 crore before Phoebe Litchfield joined Gujarat Giants at 1 crore;

Shockingly both Sri Lankan all-rounders Chamari Atapattu and Deandra Dottin remain unsold, as does Indian all-rounder Devika Vaidya who have failed to sell and found no buyers for themselves or themselves as yet!
