Amitabh Bachchan completed another season of Kaun Banega Crorepati on Friday, making an emotional final speech for this season.
Many viewers thought he might be retiring after seeing him cry during the last episode. With this milestone achievement behind him, Amitabh has concluded his long tenure as host of one of India’s longest-running quiz shows.
Confusion remains due to a failure of communication from the makers. Avinash Bharti, Vidya Bharti Sharmila Tagore, and Sara Ali Khan will serve as special guests during the final segment of this episode.
Teasers for Big B’s final episode featured an impressive montage of iconic moments from Season 15, followed by him giving the last speech. Netizens anticipated that this video would mark his departure from the show.
Bachchan states in Hindi: ”Deviyon and Sajjano. They were once lovers but will no longer share the same fate. Their lives will no longer be the same.” (In other words, Deviyon and Sajjano will no longer remain lovers).
“Goodnight Shubh Ratri. This will be my final time waving goodbye from the stage to you all. Good night.”
Kaun Banega Crorepati 15 Final Episode
Avinash Bhatti and Sheela Dev were featured in the finals, alongside Sara Ali Khan, Sharmila Tagore, Vidya, and Jaya Singhal;
Sharmila revealed Jaya gave her Rinku di nickname. Sara brought back childhood memories before cracking her trademark knock-knock joke.
Amitabh shared memories of his college days while talking with Avinash, a contestant from Uttar Pradesh. He particularly spoke fondly of room 27 – which served as his dormitory at Delhi University’s Kirori Mal College, where Amitabh earned his BSc degree.

“Usually, this seating is filled by individuals who come here to aid total strangers. Here, prayers are offered while playfulness and shenanigans take root – I saw an entirely new India (seats with the fastest fingers first), one with glorious and progressive qualities.” Said one participant.
“India was indebted, yet resilient. She showed great tenacity with her ink and hard work, writing new destinies with each letter she put down.”
I witnessed futures being created while histories were being written; seeing an entire journey through someone’s life was an experience I can vouch for firsthand.
Amitabh Has Said That His Strength Is The Stage
He concluded his speech by noting, “Applause from the audience not only honours each contestant’s efforts but also encourages and inspires me. My hope is to close this season with such an enthusiastic reception.”
Season 15 saw the addition of “Super Sandook,” whereby upon crossing the second threshold of the game, players attempt a rapid-fire question round. 50/50 was replaced by “Double Dip.”
Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 15 began with retired squadron leader Sushmita Shay being announced as its host, followed by IAS aspirant Jaskaran Singh becoming its inaugural winner of one crore rupees in Season 15.
Amitabh In His Hostel And College Days
Amitabh commented, “There were numerous positive aspects to the video; one being my study at this college.”
“Look, this hostel room is beautiful. Situated at the corner, from here you can see the wall,” he continued, recalling how they used to jump over it to watch films.
As far as his degree was concerned, however, all those years spent at university had been for nothing; “Let me be blunt – all those years spent were an exercise in futility – nothing came of them except wasted years spent just losing.”
