Warner announced his retirement from ODI Cricket along with his Test Cricket retirement. This was done before the farewell Test in Sydney in front of the home crowd.

On Day 4 of Australia’s three-match Test series against Pakistan, the Southpaw scored 57 runs off 75 balls to chase Australia’s 130 target. Sajid dismissed Warner, which prevented him from scoring the winning runs during his final innings.
