India returned to hosting the Miss World 2024 pageant after 28 years, offering contestants from 115 different nations a shot at winning its coveted crown.

Karolina Biedlawska from Poland was victorious over Krystyna Pyszkova from the Czech Republic at a grand ceremony at Jio World Centre, BKC Mumbai, where SonyLIV provided live coverage in 140 countries;

Sini Shetty from India won Miss India World and represented her nation this year.

Miss World offers various competitions where beauty queens can compete, such as Beauty with a Purpose (BWAP), Head-to-Head Challenge, Miss World Sportswoman or Talent, World Top Designer Award, Miss World Top Model Award and Red Carpet Special. Karan Johar hosted, and Megan Young performed musically for Karan Johar while Neha Kakkar hosted.

Twelve judges included Kriti Sanon and Pooja Hedge as judges alongside Sajid Nadawala, Harbhajan Sing, Rajat Sharma, Amruta Fadnava Vineet Jin, Julia Morley CBE Jamil Saidi, as well as three former Miss Worlds including Manushi Chhillar.

Miss World 2024, Krystyna Piszkova from the Czech Republic wins the 71st Miss World Crown

Krystyna Piszkova, of the Czech Republic, is the 71st Miss World. She won the Miss World crown in Mumbai today at a grand ceremony.

She competed with contestants from over 115 different countries. Krystyna was crowned by last year’s Miss World 2022, Karolina Bielawska from Poland.

Karolina Bielawska, the winner of the Miss World 2022 beauty pageant last year, crowned Krystyna as her successor.

Who is Krystyna Piszkova

Krystyna Piszkova, an academic student and model from Poland, is also a passionate volunteer. As well as studying two degrees – Law and Business Administration – at 24 years old, she established and continues to support Krystyna Pyszko Foundation’s work.

One of her proudest moments, according to Miss World Organisation, was opening an English school for underprivileged kids in Tanzania, where she volunteered; additionally, she loves music, playing the Transverse Flute and Violin!

Krystyna’s Beauty With A Purpose Project at the Miss World Pageant focused on her work in Tanzania, where she opened and worked as a volunteer to promote quality education among children.

As education is her passion, she decided to establish her foundation in the Czech Republic, which will focus on providing educational programs for children, the elderly, and people living with mental disabilities.

Miss World 2024 – 71st Miss World

After 28 years, Miss World 2024 was held in India. The event took place at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai, India.

The judges for the beauty contest were Kriti Sanon Manushi, Pooja, Hegde, Harbhajan, Rajat, Amruta, Fadnavis Vineet, Julia Morley CBE and Jamil. Shaan, Tony Kakkar, and Neha Kakkar performed at the event.

Miss World Humanitarian Award- Nita Ambani

Nita Ambani, the chairperson and founder of the Reliance Foundation, was awarded the Miss World humanitarian prize for her charitable works.

Julia Morley CBE was the Chairwoman for the Miss World Organisation and presented her with the award. Priyanka Jonas delivered a video during the award ceremony.

Miss World Tunisia is the winner of the Miss World’s Talent Contest.

Miss World Vietnam contestant announced for the Multimedia Challenge.

Croatia has won the Miss World 2024 Sports Challenge.

The Martinique candidate was crowned the winner of the Top Model Competition during the 71st Miss World Festival.

Brazil was awarded the Beauty with a Purpose award.

Indian Contestant In Miss World  

India’s hope is Sini, 22, a Mumbai native with Karnataka roots. Shetty, a trained dancer, achieved her Arangetram (achievement of Bharatanatyam) at an early age under the tutelage of Radhakrishnan Padmini, a renowned classical dancer.

Star-Studded Event

Amruta Fadnavis was spotted with her husband, Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Bigg Boss 17 Winner Munawar Fauqui and other celebrities were also spotted at the pageant.

Karan Johar, Miss World 2013, Megan Young, Shaan, Neha Kakkar’s brother Tony Kakkar as well as Shaan, the singer, will be co-hosting this star-studded affair. Karolina Bielawska is the current Miss World 2021 and will be attending the event.

The next global ambassador for Beauty will be selected by a distinguished panel of judges that includes film producer Sajid Nadiadwala as well as cricketer Harbhajan, journalist Rajat, and actress Amruta Fadnavis.

The Miss World Organisation has highlighted the importance of this event in highlighting its role as a celebration not only of Beauty but also of purpose.

The excitement and anticipation surrounding the return of Miss World to India after almost three decades is palpable.
